This notice lists what stemed.org stores in your browser and what it loads from other services. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
1Strictly necessary browser storage#
These items keep a feature working. They never leave your browser except as described, and the site works without them if your browser blocks storage.

2Content loaded from other services#
- Fonts are served from stemed.org itself, so loading a page makes no request to a font provider.
- The season kickoff video is loaded from our forms and media provider's storage only when you press play, and its cover image as you scroll near it. That provider receives those requests, including your IP address.
- If we embed a YouTube video, it uses youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set YouTube cookies until you play the video.
- Links to GiveLively, WaiverSign, the forum and event forms take you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies.
3Analytics, if we turn them on#
Analytics would help us understand which pages coaches and students find useful. If we turn them on:
- Nothing is collected until you choose Accept in a consent banner. Choosing Decline, or closing the banner, collects nothing.
- Analytics would record the pages you view, how far you scroll, time on the page, links you follow off the site and page speed, tied to a random visitor ID kept in local storage and a first-party cookie (parlor_vid).
- We would not collect device fingerprints, and we would not store your full IP address.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stay off.
- You could change your choice at any time from the link in the site footer. Withdrawing deletes the visitor ID from your browser and stops collection.
We will update this notice and the Privacy Policy before analytics start.
4Managing storage#
You can clear or block site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking it does not stop the site from working; a form may simply not remember a retry. Questions go to support@stemed.org.
